Italy Wufei Qi Museum Exhibition
The Italian Wu Feiqi Museum's exhibition tour in China is carefully selected out of a total of 82 paintings, which is divided into three parts: the landscape, still life and portrait.In Florence, most of the members of the Medici family love to collect landscape portraits, Many of the current collection of landscape painting are from the Medici family.
In the early landscape painting ,except the ordinary landscape, more have a mix of strong religious overtones and many oil paintings are created with the "Bible" story as the background, this kind of theme gives the creator more space and freedom. Such as the "Three Wise Men to the DPRK," "Cupid our party," and so on. Because they are not realistic, the creator can do the creation completely in accordance with the imagination, but these paintings are not completely bizarre, environment depicted in many works are still relying on the environment at that time, so it gives people a real feel. For religion, it is both the spiritual ruler and political dictator has many invisible constraints at that time, so the painter will follow some convention when creating.
Some works are simply describe the style of the local landscape, such as "Country Concert", "Village Dance", "Picnic on the Grass," "Autumn, busy wine grape harvest," and so on. From these works, we can not only enjoy the artist's painting technique but also exprience the cultural customs of the Italian.
There are also a prominent architectural landscape painting, for example, "Marr Gellar Tower," "Holy Trinity Bridge, Arno River Landscape", "Karen Castle Helsingør," and so on. The creators printed many signs of the Italian magnificent building on paper, by viewing these paintings the viewers feel like pass through time and space, exposure to medieval Italy, and wandering around the river in city of Venice, or playing on the grass in the country, it's really an immersive feel.
The several different types of landscape painting on this exhibition, are all representative works. With delicate brush strokes, the artist painted a magnificent natural landscape or cultural landscape, when appreciate these paintings, people can learn about some of Italy's religious, historical and cultural customs.
