Adolf. Hitler went to Vienna when 19 years old for the school enrollment on the portrait painting, but failed to be admitted because of unqualified scores on paintings, also not admitted by the architect school, because he never graduated from high school, and did not meet the school’s admission conditions. Nevertheless, Hitler remained in Vienna until 1913. His had no occupation goal and after running out of his inheritance and the first grants received as an orphan, he relied on temporary work and painted picture postcards for a living.
Hitler had hoped to become a painter. His academic achievements during high school, only drawing lesson was "excellent", and later he determined to study "the profound German art," at the age of 19, he applied for the Vienna Institute of the Arts, but because of poor test scores, he ware not admitted. (comment of the entrance exam scores was: "not satisfied with the drawing result ") Hitler had been brooding that the Art Institute did not admit him, "the world must have suffered a great loss." Some people were ever regretted for the historical errors made by Vienna School of Art, if they admitted Hitler, perhaps he would not be scourge of mankind as a mad Nazi member.
This one who dreamed becoming a painter in 1933 became Germany's "great leader." He launched a "cultural revolution" shortly after taking office (Hitler declared the Nazi movement was a revolution, including the political revolution, ideological and cultural revolutions.

Works of the first "Great German Art Exhibition," were from 15 000 candidates, 900 works were displayed after a review. Goebbels called the movement a new order of the art of a mess in the Kingdom of German art was re-established.
It can not be dinied that Hitler really liked art, and he was not a completely outsider in painting and architecture. Because of this, the fate of Germany art was a tragedy . And he asked something other than art not so specific.
Hitler admired German painter Menzel the German realist very much, but disapproved the portrait painting of German Renaissance period; his most admired composer was Wagner, also he liked Beethoven, Brahms and Bruckner, he hated jazz the most, and door Deer Song and other Jewish composers were included in the blacklist to be removed.
There were still German artists singing carols for Hitler after the German art was transformed into a real hell, not just those Goebbels sang carols, a rather famous artist, Uden Fort State’s Art Academy of Sciences on Hitler's birthday, said: "Germany has never been so free ... ..." that was not an isolated case of his shamelessness.
